We are currently seeking sponsors to support the post-secondary education of our Mosqoy 2 and Mosqoy 3 students.

The Mosqoy 2 students began their studies in January 2009, and are looking for sponsors to help them complete the last two years of their diploma.

The Mosqoy 3 students were selected from their high school class in October 2009, and will begin their studies in August 2010, pending sponsorship. We cannot guarantee these students an education until we have confirmed sponsors.

COST: $600 per year (USD or CDN)*

DURATION: Most diploma programs are three years of study. You can choose to support a student for one year, or for the entire duration of his/her education.

BENEFITS:

• You can get to know your sponsor student personally through mail and email, and follow up on his or her studies. We will send you annual updates as well as personal letters from your student.
• You will receive a tax-deductible receipt.
• You will personally change the life of a student! And they will remember you forever for that.

PAYMENT OPTIONS: You can pay bi-annually, annually, or in a lump-sum for all three years. You can pay via cash, cheque, money order, or Western Union money transfer. Please make all cheques out to the "Sacred Valley Youth Fund."

Have you thought about group sponsorship?

Many of our students are supported by a group of people who individually cannot afford to sponsor a student, but with their friends, family, or co-workers, have made a huge impact on the student’s life. All members of the group can receive tax-deductible receipts and be in direct contact with the student.

* Why are sponsorships now only $600? Yes, you are correct. Sponsorships used to be $1000 (and still are for many of our students). Education Generation, an NGO based out of Vancouver, has generously offered to support 40% of each student’s education, if we can match that with the remaining $600. This support has been offered for all students still seeking sponsors. We are grateful for their support.
